Standard Super Deluxe 7 X 4 trailer with longer heavier drawbar and large toolbox

CONSTRUCTION

• The trailers are a standard 7 X 4 box trailer, and are 500mm in depth.The body is constructed using 1.6mm zincaneal steel. They are fully welded and seam sealed units, unlike many cheaper, imported kit form units, which are bolted together.

• The chassis is a duragal tubular section chassis, constructed using 2mm zincaneal steel. This offers superior strength as opposed to the cheaper alternative angle iron chassis.

• The drawbar is heavy duty 3mm duragal steel. The “Deluxe” model drawbar is 75mm X 50mm and the “Super Deluxe” model is 100mm X 50mm and has a 300mm longer drawbar which allows for the larger toolbox.

• On completion the entire trailer is primed and sprayed with two coats of hammertone grey paint.

• Aluminium checkered plating is attached to wheel guard and side of toolbox for extra stone protection.

SUSPENSION

• 7 leaf heavy duty double eye springs with recoil are standard. This Australian made leaf spring suspension has proved to be well suited to rough outback terrain. Each leaf is 60mm wide and 5mm thick. Independent suspension is offered as an option if preferred.

AXEL/HUBS/WHEELS

• The axel is 45mm solid square, with slim line bearings.

• The “Super Deluxe” model is fitted standard with hydraulic drum brakes (override brakes).

• Three new 15” Allterrain wheels (two fitted and one spare mounted in front of the toolbox) are standard on all trailer models. These can be matched, to a five or six stud pattern hub, of the towing vehicle, and includes Landcruiser or Navara offset.

• 16” wheels are also available on request.

TRAILER COMPONENTS

• Treg hitch comes standard with all trailers, and is better suited to the uneven off road conditions. These are compatible with the normal ball hitch towbar, by simply removing the ball section.

• Jockey wheel is a large 8” solid (non-pneumatic) swing up type with a winding handle.

• Toolbox is welded to the front of the trailer on the drawbar section. The “Super Deluxe” model has a larger toolbox. All toolboxes are dust sealed and lockable, as is the entire trailer.

• Holders for three(3) jerry cans and one(1) 9kg gas bottle are standard. These are also lockable.

• Tailgate swings out with kitchen unit attached. This includes sink, water pump plumbed to water tank, and mounted fire extinguisher. The “Super Deluxe” model includes a Primus 2 burner cooker which connects directly to gas bottle fitted to holder on side of trailer, which allows for easy connection access without moving the gas bottle.

• The Water tank fitted to underside of trailer behind the axle, is a 65lt Camel water tank. This is plumbed directly to the water pump in the kitchen, and has a lockable filler cap on side of trailer for easy filling. Camel water tanks are extra durable and resistant to stone damage.

• All trailers are fitted with a stone guard on the front of the spare wheel to prevent excessive stone damage by deflecting stones thrown up by the towing vehicle.

• A Slide in bed step, which is removable, fits into welded sockets on wheelguard, for easy access to bed.

• Gas strutted bed base is standard in all trailers. This accommodates a queen size 2030 X 1500 X 100mm high density foam mattress. Gas struts are fitted to enable the entire camper top to open for easy side loading, as well as offering a gas strutted half size area, under mattress, for access to trailer from inside camper.

• LED lights are standard on all trailers.

OPTIONAL TRAILER EXTRAS

Trailers can be customized to individual requirements. Some options offered are:.

• Boat Racks are available on the camper. H frame, sturdy, easily removable racks.

• Bike rack Reece socket welded onto the rear of the trailer to accommodate most commercial bike racks.

• Outboard motor mounting.

• Independent suspension.

• Platform and C-Channel for motor bike.

• Platform for quad bikes.

CANVAS

• Superdux Canvas by Bradmill, who have been manufacturing canvas in Victoria for many years. We are proud to use Australian canvas, which is amongst the best in the world.

• On the roof of the campers we use 15oz canvas (after dying and proofing)

• The walls of the campers are 10oz canvas (after dying and proofing)

• Number 10 chunky spiral zips are used for durability and longevity.

• Windows and doors all have fine mesh, which is sandfly proof, especially suited to conditions in our states northern areas.

• PVC, used in the sewn in flooring, is 630g, for hard wearing.

• Transit cover is made from PVC Ripstop, which is UV resistant, durable and waterproof.

TENT

• Campers are available in 9ft or 12ft canvas options.

• Campers are available in a large choice of colours.

• All canvas work is designed, cut and sewn on our premises.

• Each camper has six windows and two doors all with sandfly mesh.

• The two windows on opposite ends of the camper have weather flaps for extra protection.

• PVC floor is sewn into camper.

• Erection of the camper only takes a few minutes. Three bows remain permanently connected to the canvas to allow the tent portion to be pulled open easily. Only two further poles are needed to complete the setting up.

• All poles, pegs and ropes are supplied as standard. Pegs and poles are galvanized.

• 2m wide awning (which is the same length as the camper) simply zips onto the camper.

• The annexes (walls) are made up of individual panels which zip on easily to the awning to fully or partially enclose it, which gives you a further +/- 9sqm of enclosed area.

• The annexes are either ½ canvas ½ sandfly mesh, or full canvas annex with 3 windows and a door.

• Once the camper has been folded down, it is covered with a heavy duty PVC ripstop transit cover, which zips on and is further secured with shock cord onto trailer for optimum weather and dust proofing.

CAMPER TOP ONLY

• Our standard camper tops are available for those who have their own trailers (7 X 4). This includes the gas strutted bed base, mattress and transit cover.

• Camper tops also custom made to suit individual trailers.
